Camp King's Forest 2011

Camp King's Forest: Let's get ready to meet the King of Dutch culture!

Welcome to Greenyard Camp King's Forest. In the southeast of the Netherlands, in the province of Noord-Brabant, you will stay in an enjoyable and exciting youth camp for 10 days. The camp will take place from July 19 up to and including July 30, in the year of 2011.

During the camp you will stay in a holiday farm, within a typical Dutch setting.
The farm is located in a natural area, near a small river known as De Leijgraaf. This place is located in the small village of Vorstenbosch, which is part of the municipality of Bernheze. The village lies close to small cities as Uden and Veghel and big cities like 's-Hertogenbosch and Eindhoven. To have an impression of the area, you can see the pictures below. For further information of the farm, check their website:
www.deleijgraaf.nl

The camp organisation will be done by nine Lions Clubs within the region of the camp, of whom five Lions members take place in the Senior Staff. You will find the introduction of the Senior Staff in the upper left menu list. These nine Lions Clubs can't organize the whole camp without the assistance of the Youth Staff. These youth attendants will guide you all during the camp with attending all trips and activities. You will find the introduction of the Youth Staff also in the upper left menu list.

The camp program will exist out of different trips and activities. We will do teambuilding, nature walks, sports, cultural activities, relaxation, clinics, visits to villages and cities, going out, road trips and much more. You will receive all detailed camp information at the welcome day of the camp, meanwhile you will find the headlines up front on this website.

Eventually, the camp is about having fun together and learning more about everyone's culture. Therefore you will get plenty of time to get to know each other, because the primary goal is Youth Exchange. As Dutchmen we love to show you how we live for a great part under the sea level, why we have so many cows and farmland, what our culture looks like and what we can offer out of our great history.

So get yourselves ready for Camp King's Forest, where we shall have an unforgivable time together that will always be remembered!

See you @ Camp King's Forest 2011!!

Kind regards,

Staff organisation Greenyard King's Forest 2011
